Yesterday, I went back to my doctor and got a stronge pain pill which has finallly controlled my pain enough to let me sleep, really sleep, for  the first time since Memorial Day.

Looks like mild-mannered Ken Clarke, but is really Superman in disguise.
I can't tell you how wonderful it is to be pain free for four hours at a time; you would have to have gone through this to appreciate it.

I have slept most of the day and I can even eat again. (Pain is a great weight loss diet).

I still have to go for an MRI to see what is happening with my spine and see another doctor for another shot of muscle relaxant.

But as long as I can sleep and am almost totally pain free for 4 hours at a time, I don't care. I am like Rip Van Winkle, sleeping most of the day.

My saviour and helpmete is my honey, Ken, who has picked up all the chores and become my nurse besides. I've promised him a shrimp/lobster dinner once this is all over.

Here's the one I can't live without........

I am, the pain stays away for about 2 1/2 hours. I will take my MRI to the next doc on Mon and see what can be done. I sleep through most of the night; waking up when the pills wear off and most of the day also.

Poor Auntie, hopefully with some sleep you will now feel betterer.

I am feeling more human, still a lot like Rip Van Winkle. The pain hasn't totally gone, but it stays away longer. Thanks for the good thoughts.
