Had a really nice Memorial Day weekend. We had our grandson, Louis with us. We all went to the Long Island Aviation Museum to see the historical planes and watch them do flyovers.

It's always a popular show; we had to park a good ways away and walk in. Since it's situated on an airfield, there is lots of street space to park on; no houses and a cemetary on the other side of the road.

The Skytypers loosing all of their writing material on their way in to land.
A mock-up of a U.S. bunker during the Vietnam War. Note the Playboy bunny!
The only remaining operational B-29 in the world. It was B-29s that dropped the atomic bombs on Japan.
Ken and Louis playing horseballs in the backyard.

Monday, we went to Patty and Dan's for a Memorial Day bbq. Good people, good food. ^_^

Didn't the horse object?

Nah, he's made appearances all over the camping world and in many backyards. He's made of strong stuff.

sounds like a lovely way to spend Memorial Day! :)

With family is always the best.
