Having a lot of trouble getting online these past few days. I can't wait to get the broadband installed.

It's been great Spring weather here lately; some sun, some rain, some wind, gorgeous clouds in the sky. I've been trying to work in my flower garden at least part of every day.

Last night we went to an Outback restaurant for dinner and for the first time I saw a menu with all the calories listed next to the foods. It made me think long and hard about what I actually wanted to eat. (OMG, that has HOW many calories)? Kind of takes the fun out of eating out!

But today, I ate lunch in a place which had no calorie counts at all and fabulous desserts to boot. Yum!

Our weeping cherry tree is almost done blooming, but the apple trees are in full blossom now. We never see any apples; the squirrels and birds get them all.

I have put out my gazing ball again and hung up a hot-air balloon that was a gift from our third son. I love to have some sort of windsock twirling in the yard.

I'm back into my library programs again; went to a cooking program the other night and got to sample shrimp in dill sauce, Thai noodle salad and a crunchy green salad with mandarin oranges, almonds and cranberries. Double Yum!

Checking out lots of library books again, also. There are not enough hours in the day to read.
My gazing ball, with our house reflected in it.
My mini hot air balloon. I actually went up in one in New Mexico in 2004!
