Here is my ChrisMoose bear, wishing everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

He's the biggest bear in my collection, about 4 1/2 feet high. He was a Christmas present from Ken some years ago and I love him!

The bear reminds me of a story that our pet 2-foots tell. Many years ago they were in Oregon and they came across a place called "camp" something or other, and they had a lot of large carved figures.

That's how i got this guy. We went to a totally backwoods camp area; no electric and no running water, near and like the place we spent our honeymoon. (That's where I learned the meaning of "outdoor plumbing").

There was a man staying there who had a scrapbook of all the bears he carved out of logs. Unbeknownst to me, Ken ordered one. (The man actually lived on Long Island, though this place was in Maine). I got it for Christmas that year, about 15 years ago.

I named him KBHR, from the fictional town of Cicely, Alaska, after the radio station on the t.v. show "Northern Exposure".

He did not come with those deep cracks; as he dried more and more, he developed those. They give him character.

What an awesome bear!!! Merry Christmas!!!!

He's my favorite (and my biggest). Merry Christmas to you and your family (and buns)!
