This is the first time since the weekend I've been able to get on line. With dial-up, it's sometimes difficult to connect.

We went to the "Beatles" concert on my library lawn Fri night and were treated to a really good evening. "John, Paul, George and Ringo" played for 2 hours, the first hour being songs from 1963 to 1966 and the second hour being songs from !967 to 1970. For the first set, they dressed in the familiar Nehre jackets. For the second set, they wore psychedelic clothes.

There were about 200 people in chairs and on blankets. There was some dancing, by adults and kids alike and much singing along.

The weather was perfect and so was the concert.

This Thursday, we are going r.v.ing upstate for 5 days. I'm bringing my laptop, but I don't know how reception will be. I'll try to keep you posted. ^-^wonderful weather that night...the cover bands' name...."John, Paul, George and Ringo" : the early years...audience entertainment.....some of the audience....more of the audience, with the library in the background....the Sargeant Pepper years....You can look at the bands' history on TheLiverpoolShuffle.com.  They've played with some good people.

It really was fantastic. I'm amazed that all those songs are still in my head (what with all the other detritus in there). :-)

Looks like it was a brilliant evening Auntie. Hope you were up there dancing and singing along.

Bruno xx

I don't dance much, but I sang up a storm! ^-^
