Some sights we saw in Savannah this Winter.....

We took a trolley tour and the lady above and the next 2 people joined the trolley and spoke about their lives in Old Savannah. The woman above was a house slave.

This fellow represented the pirates that roamed the area, pillaging ships and towns.

This woman would have been a society lady.

And this lovely lady married a sailor who then stayed at sea for 41 years. She would go down to the harbor and wave at his ship as he departed. I think I would have found another man long before then.

Everything was in full bloom in April in the South!

Savannah gives many tours; this is one of them
