We are going to locals night (Sun) at Manucci's of Montauk, when they serve a variety of meat dishes for $13. Then on Wed, I'm treating Ken to a repeat eat at a new restaurant called Swallow East, which is a little pricey, but serves the best fried calamari I've ever had; light, honey-sweet breading with thin circlets of scallions and roasted peanuts. YUM!
The pics are, top to bottom: one of the seasonal gardens planted by the park; Patty and Dan, our daughter-in-law and son; a helicoptor just finished in-air re-fueling from the plane; one of the camp roads on the weekend; Ken and his (delicious) fish; a banner on a unit that comes every year; Navy Beach on the southside of the area; Montauk Manor from across Lake Montauk; and a seagull seen thru the bathroom skylight.
