Summer was here today; 84 degrees; I don't know if Summer will stay, but it was nice to have it for a day. There is supposed to be several rainy days heading our way this week. At least that will benefit the flowers I transplanted.

Had a lovely luncheon today with the 3 women I worked with; first time we've seen each other in 4 months. We had a lot of catching up to do.

Now that I'm home again, I'm going to sort through all the brochures of the places we've been to over the last 14 years. I'm going to put them all in nice blue plastic file folders and when I'm done, I'm going to look at them all. That should take me all the way through Summer!

I'm nearing the end of my trip pics; today's are from Luckenbach, TX (yes. like the song) and the LBJ ranch; White House West.
The house LBJ was born in and lived in when he was small.
The Texas White House he lived in with Lady BIrd and his daughters and the home he died in.
This tree in front of the house is said to be 400 years old.
In Fredricksburg, TX we had a German luncheon and then we walked around the town. This was an outdoor memorial.
Names and faces of soldiers who died in battle on the wall of honor.
Ken at the entrance to the Japanese Garden.
Our bus guide took us to Luckenbach, which consists of the general store/bar and a dance hall. Population 3.
We all got to go inside for souveniers and a beer. It poured while we were in there and the bus driver was nice enough to pull the bus right up to the door.
The place was mobbed, as there had been dozens of bikers there when we came.
The proprietetor and one of the population of 3!
I bought myself a little wooden magnet to add to my collection that said "Luckenbach, TX population 3". Got Ken a Luckenbach t-shirt!
